Instruction for Scheduled Guests Only
RADIO Program Style and PHONE NUMBER and TIME TO CALL
Interviewees and Guests Please Read this Thoroughly
The Interviews aim to be in-depth, personal, vulnerably moving, problem-solving and inspirational too.
I am assuming I have 10 questions you want me to have in order to make sure I ask those questions too --please send those soon if you did not include those in your attachments to [email protected] with the Subject line of your email always including your NAME, TOPIC and Date of Program. Also include your bio, publications, speaking engagements, how you can be reached by phone and e-mail an your website(s). I will use these for the press releases.
You will call in 5 minutes before your scheduled segment and wait.
Phone number is: 1-626-414-3510. Call 5 minutes before.
* PLEASE SEND ME THE PHONE NUMBER FROM WHICH YOU WILL BE CALLING OR IF YOU SKYPE.
* DO NOT USE PHONES OR MICROPHONES WHICH ALLOW ANY SOUNDS FROM RADIO SHOW OR SURROUNDING TO BE HEARD.
* PLEASE use landlines, preferably, from a very quiet space or headphones also in a very quiet space. Do not have your computer on the show as it will give you feedback.
* You will be sending out announcements to all your e-mail lists, social networking, publicists, media contacts and friends BEFORE and AFTER the interview so please prepare your lists at least 2 weeks before the show. We will send you the URL and the EMBEDDING Codes which can be used for your announcements. If you wish to give us the email list recipients, they will be included in our email blasts but we do not provide guarantees as to what will occur with the e-mail information although we DO NOT SELL ANY SUCH INFORMATION, EVER. We will market the program and additional marketing can be requested by you if you wish which will be dedicated to you predominately.
The conversation style is easy-going, personal, emotional, intent, friendly, and we try to laugh, cry, and move fast--no radio silence time for example.
I ask questions in a roundabout fashion often to give you time to form your answers--for example: I will ask the question, state something about my question and then ask that same question again. This gives you time to formulate your answer. The show is discussion format as well.
Please call on a landline for clarity of recording if possible or through a good microphone on your computer. If you call from your computer, make sure you use headphones --no feedback--.
We are looking forward to our time to interview you and market your program. It will be fun, inspiring and fast.
